Caching and storing of “last access date” and overwrites the new “last access date” with the stored access date
A special DLL (Dynamic Link Library) catches the OS (Operating System), calls on documents and restores the file attribute “last access date”, after the file has been closed by the crawler. Names of these processes for those modified operations have to be configurable.
Functional description:
If a process with a dedicated name is loaded, the DLL is catching the current access date of the file (only UNC path is checked), stores it and overwrites the new “last access date” with the stored access date. The stored data will be discarded afterwards.
